Halsey showed off the cover of her new album. She dedicated the record to pregnancy and childbirth

American singer Halsey has announced the release of her fourth studio album and revealed its cover art. The record If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power will be released on August 27, 2021.

The album cover is inspired by Renaissance images – the singer dedicated the new work to the theme of pregnancy and childbirth. Now Holzy herself is expecting her first child, and the singer has previously had miscarriages.

With the cover, Halsey wanted to reflect the dichotomy she herself faced – she compared it to the images of Madonna and the harlot. The singer also called to fight the stigma around the female body and breastfeeding.

A video has also appeared on YouTube in which Halsey walks through a museum, then shows the cover.
