Hamas fired 130 rockets into Israeli territory. This was reported by the military wing of the Al-Qassam Brigades movement in Telegram.
“The Al-Qassam Brigades have now fired 130 rockets into the cities of Ashkelon, Netivot, and Sderot in response to the bombing of the al-Shuruk Tower and as an initial response to the killing of several Brigades leaders,” the group said in a statement.
According to the Times of Israel, six Israelis, including a six-year-old boy, were wounded in the city of Sderot as a result of the shelling. The child is now in serious condition. According to the newspaper, the attack targeted an apartment building.
Earlier today, an airstrike by the Israeli Air Force destroyed the Al-Shuruk Tower in the center of Gaza. The building housed dozens of media offices as well as humanitarian organizations.
