British actress Honor Blackman, known for the role of “Bond girl”, died at the age of 94 years. This was reported by BBC News on Monday, April 6.

She died at her home in Lewis in East Sussex. The cause of death was natural causes.

Honor Blaman was best known for her role as director of the troupe of professional pilots “Flying Circus” Pussy Galor in the third film franchise about a fictional British intelligence agent James Bond “Goldfinger” (1964).

She also starred in the series “The Avengers” (1961-1969) and “Colombo” (1968-2003). In 2000, for her role in “The Avengers” Blackman was awarded a special prize BAFTA.
