A man with a knife attacked supermarket customers in the Chinese city of Shenyang on July 13. This was announced by the Chinese edition of Hksd on July 14.
According to journalists, the suspect is 61-year-old Tian Momou from Meihekou City.
During a conflict in the store, he stabbed one of the customers, then tried to escape. While fleeing, the suspect stabbed eight other people, one of whom died from his injuries.
The victims are currently hospitalized, their lives are not in danger.
Earlier, on April 28, 16 children and two teachers were stabbed to death in a kindergarten in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region of China, after an unknown assailant attacked them. The perpetrator was detained by law enforcement officials.
