At least 23 people were killed and 34 injured when a minibus collided with a truck 100 km north of Abidjan, the largest city in Côte d’Ivoire. This was reported by the local newspaper Fraternite Matin.
According to the newspaper, 16 of the 34 injured were sent to hospital, including five children. Three adults are in a state of coma.
According to eyewitnesses, the accident was caused by a burst tire of the minibus.
