American actor Charlie Robinson, best known to American viewers for his role as court reporter in the classic sitcom “Night Court,” died in the United States. The actor was 75 years old, said Tuesday, July 13, channel CBS Local.
According to a spokesman for the actor, Robinson died Sunday from cardiac arrest and cancer at Ronald Reagan Medical Center.
Robinson played the role of a court clerk on “Night Court” from 1984 to 1992. A few years ago, he starred in the CBS sitcom “Mom” as Mr. Munson, a blind tenant in an apartment building.
Born in Houston, Texas, the future actor attended Studio 7 Acting School at the Houston Musical Theatre before embarking on his acting career in the 1970s.
The actor has appeared in movies, television shows and sitcoms.
