This year Apple will change the schedule of premieres of its products: first on September 7, the company will roll out the new iPad and Apple Watch, and on October 12 will present the line of iPhones. This is reported by technoblogger John Prosser.
The company will present updated iPad Air (10.8 inch diagonal) and iPad mini from tablets. Along with them, Apple Watch Series 6 will make its debut. In previous years, Apple usually presented a smart watch on the same presentation as the iPhone, and for the iPad it organized a separate event towards mid-autumn. However, now smartphones will only be shown on October 12.
According to Prosser, the first on sale will be the regular iPhone 12, while the Pro-modifications will be delayed until November. A total of four versions of the iPhone are expected: two younger models with the diagonals of 5.4 and 6.1 inches (iPhone 12) and the iPhone 12 Pro and Pro Max with the diagonals of 6.1 and 6.7 inches, respectively. All of them must have 5G and Apple A14 chips support, and the iPhone 12 Pro Max will have a LiDAR scanner.
