Italian singer and TV presenter Raffaella Carra died

Italian singer and actress Raffaella Carra has died at the age of 79. This was announced by Ansa on Monday, July 5.

The artist’s death from a long, serious illness was reported to the media by her relatives. Carra hosted a program on Italian television decades ago called Amore, through which more than 150,000 children were adopted.

“A woman of great talent, passion and humanity that accompanied us throughout our lives. Farewell, Rafaella,” Italian Minister of Culture Dario Franceschini wrote on social media.
