Former U.S. vice president, the most likely presidential candidate from the Democratic Party Joseph Biden received $242 million in donations to the campaign. Jen O’Malley Dillon, one of the campaign managers of the politician’s campaign headquarters, told about it on her Twitter page.

She pointed out that in the last two months, Biden had bypassed incumbent President Donald Trump on the campaign trail, and stressed that within three months, the former vice president had managed to reduce the gap with the White House head by more than $100 million.
The National Congress of the Democratic Party of the USA, where Biden is to be named as a candidate for the highest state post, was postponed due to the pandemic to August 17-20. It will be held in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The US presidential election is scheduled for November 3.
