Johnson announces a plan to relax the UK quarantine regime

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson will announce next week a plan to ease the month-long quarantine imposed in connection with the Coronavirus pandemic.

This was announced by the British newspaper Telegraph.

On Sunday evening, Johnson returned to his residence on Downing Street.

On Monday, the head of the British government returns to work.

Earlier Johnson, who contracted the coronavirus, spent a week in a clinic, and then – two weeks in his country residence.

The British Prime Minister is discussing with ministers the idea of “modification” of the quarantine regime, but not its abolition. It is understood that a number of restrictions will remain in force if enterprises and schools are opened.
