Johnson & Johnson vaccine is approved in the U.S.

The United States approved the use of Johnson & Johnson vaccine. The authorization was issued for the use of the drug in an emergency situation. The Food and Drug Administration said that the manufacturers had proved the effectiveness of the vaccine.

The vaccine allegedly prevents up to 85% of severe cases of COVID-19. The drug will be administered once. So far, three vaccines have been registered in the United States, including one from Pfizer and BioNTech and one from Moderna Pharmaceutical Corporation.
