Juventus announced on Wednesday the recovery of two of their players who tested positive at Covid-19, Italian defender Daniele Rugani and French midfielder Blaise Matuidi.
“Daniele Rugani and Blaise Matuidi have carried out a double check with the test for coronavirus-Covid 19, as provided for in the protocol. The tests were negative. The players are therefore cured and no longer have to stay in isolation at home,” Juventus said on its website.
Daniele Rugani was the first Serie A player to test positive for the new coronavirus on March 12. Blaise Matuidi, who won the 2018 FIFA World Cup with the French national team, tested positive for the virus on 17 March. Juventus, on the other hand, said nothing about their striker Paulo Dybala, who tested positive on March 21.
