Washington should have warned Kabul about the forthcoming strike on the IS terrorists. The new authorities in Kabul regard what happened as an attack on Afghan territory, Taliban spokesman Zabihullah Mujahid told Reuters.
Earlier on August 28, the Pentagon reported about the elimination of two IS militants and wounding of another terrorist in Afghanistan. According to the Americans, there were no civilian casualties. The airstrike followed the August 26 attacks near the airport in Kabul, which killed nearly 200 people, including 13 U.S. troops.
According to a spokesman for the movement, Kabul sees the strike as an attack on Afghan territory. In addition, two people were killed and two women and a child were injured, Reuters wrote.
