The wife of Prince William once again surprised the British society, riding a giant “iron horse”. The Duchess of Cambridge was not afraid to get behind the wheel of a vehicle that was not royal – even her husband did not dare to drive it.
Prince William and Kate Middleton visited a small family farm in Little Stainton, run by the couple Stewart and Claire Chapman and their two young daughters. Their Highnesses chatted with farmers, discussed various farming issues, walked through the fields and fed cute sheep.
But this was not enough for the prince’s courageous wife, who decided to try driving the tractor herself. She did it brilliantly – Kate Middleton is generally known for her decisive actions and great practical acumen. Recently, for example, the mother of many children visited an air training base, where she tested a real flight simulator for pilots.
Prince William did not dare get on the tractor, preferring to stay downstairs. He asked the hosts how the National Farmers Union program, aimed at supporting agriculture during the coronavirus pandemic, worked.
