U.S. singer Lady Gaga will perform the U.S. national anthem at President-elect Joe Biden’s inauguration ceremony on January 20. It was announced on Thursday, January 14, the channel ABC News.
As told in the inauguration committee, the artist will sing when Biden is sworn in. It is also noted that singer Jennifer Lopez will perform at the ceremony. In addition, it is stressed that both performers have previously supported the president-elect.
A day before the head of the Department of Transportation in Washington, Paul Wiedefeld said that 13 stations of the U.S. capital subway will be closed in connection with the security during the inauguration of Biden. They will stop operating on Friday, January 15, and will be closed until January 21. Also, 26 bus routes will be adjusted in connection with the inauguration. The security measures have been taken in coordination with the Secret Service, which protects the country’s top leaders.
