Lightning struck a group of tourists near the Round Mountain in Ukraine

Three people have been injured by lightning in the Zakarpattya region, located in western Ukraine. This was reported on Friday, July 30, by the press service of the Ukrainian State Emergency Service.

The incident occurred on July 29. It is specified that the victims were sent to medical institutions.

“After providing them with first pre-hospital care rescuers will take them to Mezhigorie, where they will be transferred to the care of medics,” the Ukrainian agency said in a statement.

At the time of the incident, the group of tourists was in the area of Round Mountain of the Borzhava ridge, a total of eight people were on the route.
