Marina Crossroads: an island of entertainment in the Maldives

Marina Crossroads is part of the CROSSROADS resort, which is located on the North Male Atoll, just a 15-minute speedboat ride from Male Airport. It consists of three islands connected by pedestrian bridges. Right next door to the marina are the Hard Rock Hotel Maldives and the SAii Lagoon Maldives. Guests at both hotels have full access to all the activities available at Marina Crossroads.

For those who love to scuba dive, snorkel, or windsurf, there’s a dive center. For beginners, there are experienced instructors under whose guidance you can learn all these activities.

For the more adventurous, the Lèn Be Well Spa is a haven for total relaxation, while the Maldives Discovery Centre offers a unique way to discover the history, geography, flora and fauna of the Maldives.

Marina Crossroads has its own pier for yachts and boats, equipped Beach Club, boutiques with clothing and grocery store, as well as a variety of restaurants for all tastes.

Gastronomy enthusiasts will love the diverse selection of world cuisines offered on the island. Ministry of Crab is one of the top 50 restaurants in Asia and offers the legendary Lankan freshwater crab and shrimp. Kebab and Kurry serves traditional Indian cuisine, while Kinkao offers a wide selection of dishes drawn from all the culinary regions of Thailand. Carne Diem Steakhouse offers beef and tuna steaks, and Nihonbashi Blue offers traditional Japanese cuisine.

The main children’s entertainment is the Junior Beach Club and Camp – a real tent camp with playgrounds, trampolines, a library, board games, drawing workshops and water activities like inflatable slides and snorkeling for the little ones. Qualified professionals, teachers and nannies look after the children.

The hotel complex is an ideal option for corporate events due to its proximity to the airport, a variety of infrastructure and the availability of the first conference center in the Maldives Event Hall CROSSROADS (1300 sq.m. indoor and outdoor areas for activities of all levels).

By the way, all three islands of the complex CROSSROADS are bulk, but it is almost impossible to guess about it: they brought not only flowers and shrubs, but also mature palms, which successfully took root, in the lagoon are carefully planted corals. They are very attentive to ecology here. The use of disposable plastic is kept to a minimum: even toothbrushes are biodegradable, made from plant-based materials.
