The volunteers who took part in the coronavirus vaccine trials at the Sechenov University feel well after discharge, none of them have sought medical help. This was announced on Tuesday, July 28, by the head of the Centre for Clinical Study of Medicines at the Sechenov University, Elena Smolyarchuk.
“We are waiting for them to be examined next week, on the 42nd day. This is a scheduled appointment in accordance with the protocol”.
According to her, specialists of the Sechenov University are in constant contact with volunteers, and patients always have the opportunity to seek medical help.
The development and testing of the coronavirus vaccine in Russia is carried out at the Sechenov University, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) and the Ministry of Defense. On July 15, the military department said that the tests showed safety and good tolerability of the vaccine.
