German company Mercedes-Benz presents a new electric car EQS in 2021. This was reported by Autocar on April 6.
The serial model will be built on the basis of the concept model EQS Vision, which made its debut at the Motor Show in Frankfurt am Main (Germany). In this case, many stylistic solutions will be taken from the new generation of sedan S-class.
Distinctive features of the novelty will be a low body silhouette, short hood, black grille, narrow LED headlights, as well as the original 22-inch wheel rims.
The new Mercedes-Benz EQS will be equipped with two electric motors located on the front and rear axles. The total output of the power plant will be 470 hp. In addition, there will be a version AMG with an output of 600 hp, which can reach 100 km/h in 4.2 seconds.
Thanks to a set of lithium-ion batteries with a capacity of 90 kW / h the model will be able to travel from 400 to 550 km without recharging.
It is noted that the electric car will compete with Porsche Taycan and Audi E-Tron GT.
