Military from Russia and Serbia to come to the exercises in Belarus in mid-September

Arrival of participants of international anti-terrorist Belarusian-Russian-Serbian tactical exercises “Slavic brotherhood – 2020” is expected in mid-September. It is reported on Tuesday, September 8, by the Belarusian military department.

“Arrival of the participants of the exercises in Belarus is planned from September 10 to 15,” the ministry said.

It is noted that the exercises will involve units of the Armed Forces of Belarus, Russia and Serbia, which will form a multinational tactical group.

“At the exercise, the servicemen will work out the issues of joint actions of the units in carrying out counter-terrorism tasks,” added the Belarusian Defense Ministry.

Preparation for the joint Belarusian-Russian-Serbian exercise “Slavic Brotherhood – 2020” was discussed during the meeting Chief of General Staff of the Russian Armed Forces, Army General Valery Gerasimov, and his Belarusian counterpart, Major General Alexander Volfovich. Also during the conversation the Chiefs of General Staff touched upon the strategic command and staff exercise “Caucasus-2020”, which will also take place in September.
