Military plane crashed in Las Vegas

A military plane crashed in the northeastern city of Las Vegas in the United States, according to the Twitter account of Intel Point ALERTS on Tuesday, May 25.

It is noted that reports of a loud noise were followed by an explosion at about 3:45 p.m. .

Police and paramedics are working at the scene of the incident. No injuries were reported.

Nellis Air Force Base in Nellis, Nevada, confirmed on Twitter that the crashed plane belonged to it. The military base provided no other details.

Police sealed off the area about 11 kilometers northeast of downtown Las Vegas. Locals posted photos online of a cloud of smoke near the fence leading to the base, as well as arriving firefighters and a helicopter circling over the area.
