Molotov cocktails and tear gas at a protest in Athens

Protests are held in Athens because of the project to limit the rallies. Activists gathered outside the Greek parliament building. The unrest began with a group of 150 people in masks. In the custody of the order flew “Molotov cocktails”. Tear gas was used against the demonstrators. More than 20 people were detained, six policemen were injured.

The Greek authorities intend to change the order in which the demonstrations are held. The new law will make it more difficult to organize street protests. Activists will be required to notify the authorities of their intentions in advance.
