The number of detected cases of coronavirus infection has increased by 42,812 over the past 24 hours in the United States, reaching 7,234,257, according to data from Johns Hopkins University on Thursday, October 1.
The number of deaths in the country increased by 946 per day, with 206,963 COVID-19 deaths during the entire period.
