Mysterious underground cameras found under the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem

Israeli archeologists discovered strange underground cameras under the Wailing Wall in Jerusalem. It became known that small niches were located under the mosaic floor about 35 meters from the base of the Wall. In them, scientists saw clay lamps for oil and bowls of limestone. These findings have been well preserved.

The age of the found underground chambers and artefacts is about 2 thousand years. The researchers do not know yet what the ancient Israelis used these niches for. But people couldn’t hide in them, because the cells are very small. They’ve never found anything like this in Jerusalem before.
