NASA astronauts went into outer space aboard the ISS

NASA astronauts went into outer space from the ISS to continue upgrading its power system. Astronauts replace batteries of solar panels of the International Space Station.

It is planned that this exit Chris Cassidy and Bob Benken will spend 7 hours in open space. American Doug Hurley and Russian Ivan Wagner are assisting with the ISS. Renewal of the solar panels began in 2017. The space station is equipped with 48 batteries. To date, 36 batteries have already been replaced.
