Navalny is nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize

Blogger Alexey Navalny was nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. Professor of Rutgers University in New Jersey Sergei Erofeev said this on Facebook.

According to him, a number of professors of recognized universities, which are engaged in Russia, did it. At the same time, Erofeev did not mention the names of scientists. He believes that this idea should find a wide response, reports NSN.

Navalny felt bad during the flight Tomsk – Moscow on August 20. The plane landed in Omsk in an emergency, the blogger was taken to the emergency hospital number 1. He was transported to the clinic “Charite” in Berlin on August 22, where the Russian “found” signs of intoxication with the substance from the group of cholinesterase inhibitors. However, Omsk doctors did not reveal any signs of intoxication with this substance during the examination of the patient.

On September 2 the government of Germany stated that Navalny was poisoned with the substance from the group “Novichok”. No proof of this was presented. Berlin did not respond to official requests from the Russian side, but demanded some materials from Moscow for investigation.

The Russian Foreign Ministry has repeatedly called on Germany to cooperate. On September 9 the ministry expressed its strong protest to the Ambassador of Germany Ges Andreas von Gair, noting that the situation is used to discredit the Russian Federation in the international arena, and further silence of Germany will be considered as refusal in establishment of truth within the framework of objective investigation and provocation.

The same day, Germany stated that it handed over the results of Navalny’s analyses to the OPCW. However, Alexander Shulgin, Russia’s post-representative to OPCW, said the organization had not received any materials on Navalny’s “case.

On September 14, ” Charite” reported that the blogger’s health condition had improved, and the next day Navalny published his first post in Instagram after leaving his coma.
