Streaming service Netflix has released a teaser of the documentary series about tennis player Naomi Osaka. The series is directed by Garrett Bradley and produced by basketball player LeBron James. The series will premiere on July 16.
The series will consist of three episodes in which viewers will learn the story of Naomi’s life, her professional journey and her search for herself. During the press release, Bradley explained what she thinks the series is about.
“The series will tell the story of Naomi’s journey, will be a synopsis of her life. This work is not just about her, it’s about goals in life, about potential, about the courage to open up and let personal beliefs affect work and vice versa.”
“My greatest hope is that audiences can get into Naomi’s story, get energized by it, and feel empowered to take risks to get things done. Especially in moments when the stakes are higher than ever.” Garrett Bradley
