New press secretary for Trump is his campaign spokeswoman

U.S. President Donald Trump’s press secretary will be Kayleigh McEnany, his campaign spokeswoman, according to The New York Times on Tuesday, April 7.

Her predecessor was Stephanie Grisham, who will return to the office of First Lady Melanie Trump. In nine months, Grisham has never briefed a journalist in this position. It remains to be seen whether Ms. McEnany will revive the tradition of a daily press briefing by the spokesperson. The White House believes that her main task should be to represent the President’s position on television.

Kayleigh McEnany, is 31, she graduated from Harvard Law School and has been an active supporter of Trump many times, the newspaper writes.

In addition, the White House press office will be joined by Alissa Farah, a spokeswoman for the Ministry of Defense who once worked for Vice President Mike Penns.
