New York governor to raffle $5 million among those vaccinated against COVID-19

New York Governor Andrew Cuomo announced the launch of a lottery in which you can win $5 million. The only requirement for participation is to be vaccinated against the coronavirus in one of the 10 state institutions. Cuomo wrote about it in his Twitter on May 21.

It is specified that lottery participants must be vaccinated with Pfizer or Johnson & Johnson brand vaccines. People over the age of 18 will be able to participate in the lottery for a cash prize.

Under the terms of the raffle, everyone who is vaccinated will receive a free ticket to participate. Tickets can also be purchased for $20 at ten retail stores.

On May 14, New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio promised a free burger and fries to every American for getting vaccinated against the coronavirus. During the campaign, starting on May 13, all vaccinated people will be able to get free fast food at mobile sites.

On May 4, it became known that U.S. President Joe Biden predicted that by the end of the summer the situation with the spread of coronavirus infection in the country will improve and Americans will develop immunity to COVID-19.
