Nickelodeon decided to support protesters against police brutality in America

Support for protesters in the U.S. is reaching unprecedented speed. Children’s channel Nickelodeon also decided to show a civic attitude, which may have shocked its young viewers.

For almost nine minutes on the black screen there was only the inscription “I can’t breathe” in English and one could hear the crushed breath of an unknown man. According to police reports, that’s how long African-American George Floyd died, which was the cause of the riots and protests.

As explained by representatives of the channel Nickelodeon, such a performance was a sign of support for the protesters. How exactly did the children react to this decision of the channel is still unclear.
