The fire occurred in a wildlife sanctuary in Sissan City, northern California. This was reported by CNN on Thursday, June 4, referring to the head of the fire department of the city Justin Vincent.
According to him, the call reached the fire department on June 3 at 15:26 local time. There were no casualties.
Vincent specified that the fire had spread to nearby buildings, burning almost 10 houses.
As noted by the reserve management on Facebook, it hasn’t been possible to cope with the fire yet. At the same time, the main building of the nature park and most of the animals have been saved.
