Number of deaths from coronavirus decreased in Spain

In the last 24 hours, the number of cases of coronavirus infection in Spain has increased by 4576, 605 patients died. This is the lowest fatality rate in the country since March 24, reported the newspaper El Pais on Friday, April 10.

The total number of Coronavirus infections in Spain has reached 157 022, according to the website of the Ministry of Health of the country. During the entire period of the epidemic, 55,668 patients were cured of the disease, while 15,843 people died.

On 29 March, the authorities tightened quarantine measures for two weeks, requiring residents not to leave their homes unnecessarily and to maintain a regime of self-isolation. The head of the Spanish Ministry of Health, Salvador Iya, later stated that the epidemic had entered a stabilization phase in the country.
