One person died in a shooting outside a nightclub in Canada

Shooting at a nightclub occurred in the Canadian city of Calgary. As a result of the incident one person was killed, as it became known on Sunday, September 10.

As the CBC TV channel specifies, when the law enforcement officers arrived at the scene of the shooting, they found a 30-year-old man, whose condition was assessed as serious. The victim was taken to hospital, where he died of his wounds.

While the man was being taken to a medical facility and police were examining the scene, Foothills Medical Centre reported another 30-year-old young man hospitalized with gunshot wounds.

Calgary officers believe the second person hospitalized was involved in the shooting. He is currently hospitalized with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

Local police are investigating the incident, specifically finding out the connection between the two victims.

Earlier, on October 8, it became known about the shooting in the U.S. state of Maryland. It was noted that as a result of the incident two women were killed, and the shooter was detained.
