Paris police detained 200 participants of “yellow vests” action

Law enforcers detained 200 people at the action of “yellow vests” in Paris. This is reported on Twitter city police department.

According to BFM TV channel, 78 people were taken into custody.

Earlier on September 12 it became known that the police used tear gas against the protesters.

As part of the national day of protest of “yellow vests” two actions were held in Paris. The participants of one of them gathered at the Place de la Vagram and the other at the Exchange Square in the center of the capital. At about 1 p.m., the protesters were to head north-east towards Montmartre from Place Vagram, but a group of radicals separated and tried to get out of the square in the opposite direction – towards the Champs-Elysées. The police did not let them go there. The second action is peaceful in nature; its participants do not conflict with the law enforcement agencies.
