Passenger in the U.S. beat up a flight attendant over a request to wear a mask

A passenger on an Alaska Airlines flight from Seattle to Denver staged a brawl on board for asking to wear a medical mask and then urinated in the cabin. This was reported on March 13 by Yahoo.

The incident occurred on March 9. According to Landon Greer, 24, he drank a few beers and “a couple of shots” before boarding the flight, fell asleep on the plane and “woke up to the screams of flight attendants,” who told him that he was urinating right in the cabin. The man, however, claims he has no recollection of it.

Grier was arrested immediately after the plane landed. He was charged with interfering with the work of the crew and operating personnel. The troublemaker faces up to 20 years in prison and a fine of $250,000. Documents related to the incident were transferred to the district court in Denver.

The man was released on $10,000 bail until his next court appearance, scheduled for March 26.

“We will not tolerate any inconvenience aboard our aircraft or at any of the airports we serve,” the airline said.

In 2019 China, an airline passenger opened the emergency exit door before takeoff, claiming she was stuffy.
