Pelosi accused Trump of unwillingness to support the economy during the pandemic

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi said U.S. President Donald Trump and Republicans are not going to help those affected by COVID-19 and fight the coronavirus. She made such an accusation on Tuesday, October 6, after the cancellation of negotiations to stimulate GDP.

Earlier, the head of the White House said that negotiations are canceled before the elections because Pelosi demands $2.4 trillion to support the economy, and the administration is ready to give no more than $1.6 trillion.

“Today, President Trump once again showed his true intentions: to put himself in first place at the expense of the country. Members of Congress from the Republican Party fully condoned him,” she said in her written statement.

Pelosi also said the head of state “does not want to destroy the coronavirus” and help the people who suffered from it.
