Pelosi’s laptop was stolen from her office during the Capitol riots

Laptop was stolen from the office of U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi during the riots at the Capitol. This was reported on January 8 by her aide Drew Hammill.

“The laptop was stolen from a conference room. It was a laptop that was only used for presentations,” Hammill wrote on Twitter.

Protesters stormed the congressional building on Jan. 6, effectively seizing it for several hours. At that time, members of the House and Senate were meeting to confirm Joe Biden as the president-elect of the United States.

Congressmen were urgently evacuated. Only riot police were able to drive the crowd out of the Capitol. The security forces used tear gas and stun grenades.

In total, four people were killed and more than 50 police officers were injured during the riots.

On January 8, Pelosi called on Trump to resign immediately, otherwise she threatened to start impeachment proceedings.
