Pentagon expects to spend $85.5 billion on intelligence in 2022

Joe Biden’s administration asked the U.S. Congress for $85.5 billion for intelligence activities in fiscal year 2022. They want $23.3 billion for the military program alone.

The Pentagon assures that the amount is consistent with strategic priorities. It is not reported which special operations the money will be used for. The Pentagon requested $23.1 billion for 2021, the same amount the Defense Department received in 2020.
