Plane with soccer players on board crashed in Brazil

As a result of a plane crash in Brazil, six people were killed, including four soccer players. This was reported Sunday, January 24, edition Globo.

The plane crashed earlier in the day near the Brazilian city of Porto Nasional (Tocantis state). The plane collapsed immediately after takeoff near the runway.

There were six people aboard the aircraft, including the pilot, four players of the Palmas club Lucas Praxedes, Guilherme Noe, Ranule, Marcos Molinari and the president of FC Lucas Meiro. None of them survived. All of the athletes were between 23 and 28 years old. The plane was flown by the pilot Wagne.

The circumstances and causes of the crash are being established.

FC “Palmas” expressed condolences to the families and friends of the victims of the crash. On January 25, the team was supposed to meet with the club Viva Nova in an away match in Goiania. It is noted that the administration of the club Vila Nova will ask for the postponement of Monday’s scheduled match of the Copa Verde tournament.
