Police found the body of Senator Robert Kennedy’s missing granddaughter

Police found the body of the missing granddaughter of American Senator Robert Kennedy Maeve in Chesapeake Bay off the coast of Maryland. This was reported on Monday, April 6, CBS Baltimore.

Maуve and her eight-year-old son disappeared on April 2 while canoeing. On Sunday, police stopped looking for them and declared them dead.

The body of the boy has not yet been found, the search will resume on Tuesday.

The incident occurred on April 2 in Shady Side City in the afternoon when Maeve Kennedy Townsend McKeen, 40, and his eight-year-old son Gideon chased a ball that had fallen into the water by canoe. However, because of the strong current, they were unable to return to shore.

Maeve Kennedy is the granddaughter of Senator Robert Kennedy, brother of the 35th President of the United States, John Kennedy.
