Police report four people shot in a shopping mall in California

At least four people were shot and killed at a mall in Merced, California, including the suspect in the shooting. It was reported on Monday, September 13, TV channel ABC30 News, citing the police.

A fourth victim was initially reported to police, but police have not yet been able to locate the victim or confirm the information.

The incident occurred around 7:30 p.m. local time at Mountain Mike’s Pizza, located in the mall near Olive Avenue and Meadows. The police department did not specify the cause of the shooting.

Two people were taken to Modesto Hospital, with another victim and a suspect being treated at Merced Hospital.

On Sept. 10, a mass shooting occurred near the East Side meat market in East St. Louis, Ill. About 12 people were shot, according to various reports, and six others were hospitalized. One of the shooters attempted to flee through a railroad crossing, but his car was hit by a train. No one was in the car when police arrived at the scene of the accident.

On September 5, a man in the U.S. state of Florida shot and killed four people, including an infant, and wounded an 11-year-old girl. At the time of his arrest, the man admitted taking methamphetamine.
