Powerful explosion erupts outside the U.S. Embassy in Kabul on the anniversary of September 11

A powerful explosion erupted near the U.S. Embassy in Kabul on Wednesday night.

According to some reports, the cause of the explosion was a missile attack. The number of victims is not yet known. There were no comments from officials.

The explosion occurred on the 18th anniversary of the attack on the world trade center towers organized by the terrorist organization Al-Kaida.

It was also recently announced that talks had been canceled between Taliban leaders suspected of orchestrating the attack and Us President Donald Trump. As Trump himself has noted, peace talks with the Taliban are “dead.”
