Private jet crashes west of Ottawa

One person died in the crash of a private small plane in Canada. It was reported by Global News on Wednesday, February 10.

The accident occurred in western Ottawa earlier, on February 10. The two-seat plane Blackshape BS100 crashed in a wooded area near the Karp airport and then caught fire.

Rescuers were able to locate and extinguish the aircraft. Presumably, there was only the pilot of the plane, whose body was found by the rescuers. The Council for Transport Safety said it had sent a team of investigators to the airport to assess the accident.

On February 7, it was reported that a man and a woman were killed in a small plane crash in central Spain.
