Protests over COVID-19 measures have started in Europe

Actions against restrictive measures imposed by the coronavirus were held in Europe. Law enforcement officers used water cannons to disperse the rally in Rome. Activists launched firecrackers and looted several boutiques. Mass demonstrations were also held in the main streets of Turin. The police detained 11 people.

In Spanish city of Madrid, public transport drivers were on strike. City authorities restricted buses due to the pandemic. Carrier companies incur huge losses. The first strike in the last 25 years was held by Spanish doctors. Medics complain about poor working conditions.
