Rapper Kodak Black convicted of assaulting a teenager

A rap artist from the United States under the pseudonym Kodak Black was sentenced to 18 months of probation for assaulting a teenager in a hotel room. It was reported by ABC News on April 29.

The rapper has previously served time in prison. After serving half a sentence (1.5 years instead of three years), at that time U.S. President Donald Trump pardoned the musician.

It is specified that this time the case in which the rap singer was sentenced to probation occurred back in 2016. Then he attacked a teenage girl in a hotel after his show. The girl later complained to a school employee, who went to the police with the charges.

The young man was initially charged with rape, but he later accepted a plea deal and pleaded guilty to first-degree assault.

According to the investigation, the rapper faces 10 years in prison if he violates the terms of his 18-month probation.
