Ronaldinho’s mother died because of complications from COVID-19

Miguelina Eloi Dos Santos, mother of 2002 FIFA World Cup champion Ronaldinho died because of a coronavirus. This was reported by the Tribuna portal on February 21.

The patient was 71 years old. In December 2020, the athlete reported that his mother was hospitalized in the ICU with coronavirus. The information about her death was not confirmed by the footballer, but put a mourning avatar in black on his Twitter page.

Ronaldinho won the Italian and Spanish championships and the Champions League. He played 97 matches for the Brazilian national team, became world champion and scored 33 goals.
