Russian Helicopters Holding, part of the state corporation Rostekh, will supply over 120 helicopters, including 18 combat helicopters, to China under contracts in 2019. This is stated in the Rostekh report for last year.
“During the year 2019 JSC Russian Helicopters signed contracts for the supply of China with the following Russian-made helicopters: 68 Mi-171 helicopters (including upgraded Mi-171E), 18 Mi-171S helicopters (military transport), 14 Mi-171 helicopters with VK-2500 engine, 21 Ansat helicopters – the document says.
In addition, the report notes that Russian Helicopters handed over the first eight helicopters to the Russian National Sanitary Aviation Service: four Ansat and four Mi-8 helicopters. By 2021, the organization plans to supply 87 medical helicopters.
“Russian Helicopters has for the first time presented the Ansat helicopter with a higher comfort salon in the style of the Aurus brand at the Max-2019 air show,” the document specifies.
