Ryanair landed at Oslo airport after receiving a bomb threat report

A Ryanair passenger plane flying from London to Norway received a bomb threat message on board. Despite this, the liner landed safely at Oslo Airport. This was reported by Reuters, citing a report from the Norwegian police on Friday, July 17.

Police have already detained a suspect in connection with the blast threats. The suspect is a 51-year-old British citizen.

“A Danish F-16 jet fighter accompanied Ryanair after a passenger jet received a bomb threat message. The fighter also landed for refueling at Oslo airport before returning to Denmark,” the Danish armed forces said on Twitter.

The plane will be checked by emergency services. The Norwegian police added that all passengers were evacuated.
