Korean technology giant Samsung introduced a protected tablet Galaxy Tab Active3, based on the Galaxy Tab S and is able to withstand shocks and moisture. According to official specifications, the device has received protection under military standard MIL-STD-810H.
The standard provides protection against water and dust, and also ensures that the device will survive a fall from a height of one and a half meters. For durability, the tablet is enclosed in a special case, which is supplied with the device. The strength of the glass display is also different. Interact with the latter, by the way, you can wear gloves.
The basis of the hardware of the eight-inch tablet Samsung Galaxy Tab Active3 – branded single-crystal system Exynos 9810, working in conjunction with four gigabytes of RAM. Depending on the version, the drive has a capacity of 64 or 128 gigabytes. The device supports MicroSD memory cards up to one terabyte.
The device features a removable battery with a capacity of 5050 milliampere-hours, which is rare among recent tablets. With an additional battery, you can seriously improve the battery life of the tablet, which is very useful when used far away from civilization. Interestingly, the device can operate without a battery – with power from an external adapter.
