Several dozen U.S. fighters deployed to Poland

Dozens of American fighter jets have been redeployed to Poland, the country’s National Defense Minister Mariusz Blaszczak said in his Twitter account.

“Strengthening the security of the region,” as Blaszczak outlined the main purpose of the event, flew F-15s and F-16s. The U.S. European Command of the Armed Forces, EUCOM, was practicing a scenario of rapid airlift to Europe and alliance-affiliated organizations. NATO conducts up to 40 major exercises near the Russian border a year.
